Democrat Congressman “King Tom” Perriello (VA-05) has officially called on President Barack Obama to “fire” United States Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, presumably for incompetence (see video below).

Breaking news: Stanley elected GOP 5th District Chair
Attorney Bill Stanley has been elected Virginia’s 5th District GOP Chair at today’s Republican convention, held at Hampden-Sydney College. Stanley prevailed over former Albemarle County GOP Chair, Christian Schoenewald, in what was reported as a “close” vote.
Stanley will replace outgoing 5th District Chair, Tucker Watkins.
